Are you with the BTR Group?

I just joined late last year.

I don’t attend every function but I do tend to make most monthly meetings and a few displays here and there.

I've always been kind of meh about chromed out anything. I've always dug the blacked out look. My current car is midnight black paint, black rims, black trim, black interior, dark window tint. So yeah, do the black rims.

It is a great group of folks. Put the BRCC St Jude show coming up on your calendar.
We try to make it every year and always have a wonderful time.

That’s beautiful. And with everything blacked out it’s really impressive. My GS badges are chrome so those blacked out too would be a nice touch.

Really great looking vette.

Funny you should mention that show I just printed off the entry form the other day.

I hear it's a really well run show and I'm looking forward to it!

I think you will enjoy it and always for a worthy cause. I'll be bringing my 69 over.

What do those Grand Sports go for now? They were made 2010 to 2013 or so right? I think they look good.

Thanks. I found this one in Lake Charles at the Toyota dealership. Great guys to work with. Really nice experience. More miles than I wanted but it’s in really good shape and had every option I was looking for. Even has the magnetic ride control. 100,00 miles and got it for $23,900.

Most I was seeing were priced 32-34,000 I test drive a really low mileage GS convertible in Bossier and they were asking 43,000. Yikes!

Pics?

Those 68-72 are the best looking vehicles ever. Would love to own one, but I needed one me or the wife could use as a weekend driver and backup when one of our daily drivers is down.

The chrome looks great as is but I think in this case some black rims would look better.

Wow! Looks fantastic. And the amount of work it took to get it/keep it in that condition has to be unbelievable.

Very nice car, what a survivor in original paint!

The C7 design folks did a nice job getting inspiration from that Gen with the rise in the fenders and the shallow spots in the hood next to them to make the fender arches look even taller.

You can really tell how high the fenders are when you sit in a C7, very similar to the 69.

Andy, you are right. The first thing people notice when they get in, is the high arch fenders.
