I don’t recall Broadmoor ever flooding.

Broadmoor didn’t flood a couple weeks back either, so not sure what that guy is talking about.

My part of Broadmoor did not flood in 2016 either. Don’t think any of it flooded.

So given the events of the last two weeks, you still think people are being overly dramatic when they talk about how far BR has slipped?
No because so much crime goes unreported.

Some of the homes in the portions of Sherwood close to Old Hammond got water both times, but Broadmoor stayed dry through each event I believe.
I’m not aware of Broadmoor ever flooding beyond the typical hurricane type street flooding.
ETA: howdy neighbor

I think every decently sized city is going to have a serious spike in crime until this current brand of Democrats leave office by voter referendum (or indictment in many cases).
Everything from New York to Los Angeles to Baton Rouge and New Orleans are going to have record breaking years.

Sherwood had a few flooded houses but not Broadmoor.
The Sherwood flooding surprised me until I actually paid attention to the condition of Jones Creek. It needs to be dredged and concrete lined. There is funding to do it for 3 years, but it’s never gotten started.

This seems to be a common theme regarding the local drainage systems. The Parish is way behind on getting the ditches and drainage canals/creeks cleaned out and upgraded.

We live right by Jones Creek. I know our hoa had a meeting about this the other night with Amoroso. I didn't attend or read what was discussed though.

Don't ever line a drainage ditch, creek,or bayou with concrete.

There is an old boat in the Jones Creek canal. It can be seen from the bridge on Old Hammond Hwy. It’s on the Blvd de Providence side behind Shop and Geaux.
