Probably not many, but I know what pain perdu means and I don't speak it fluently.

She's from Cameron parish, and I've heard her talk to people from other parts of the state and there was some confusion on different words.
I've even asked her about some words before and she would often tell me what word they used for that instead of what I called it. Can't remember any examples off the top of my head, but there were a few out of the Cajun Self-Taught books by Fr Daigle.
