Having the Priest face the congregation has lead to a lot of confusion as well including having laity use postures reserved for the Priest. The Priest used to the lead the laity in prayer during the mass all facing the same direction, liturgical east to the coming lord.

Lol our diocese cutnout drinking from the cup but the email we received from our pastor didn’t even mention no sign of the peace. I mean wouldn’t that make sense to do away with? I haven’t shaken a hand in a while with reguLr flu season and all and now this.

Hudson- I like the way you think. The church of nice and lovey dovey shite needs to go. Every church should be required to have altar rails and a real altar at minimum. They have a couple of churches in BR that should be the model to follow. I think eventually it is going to happen but not fast enough.
