Looking at either the Tacoma or Colorado.

Most reviews are pointing me towards the Colorado. I'm not too concerned with resale at this point because I plan to have it for 6-8 years.

I can get a pretty loaded 2018 Z71 (heated seats, navigation, all leather, etc) Colorado for the same price as the 2017 SR5 Tacoma. I like the body style of both about the same.

I have 2 carseats. Is there a difference in rear seating area?

Why not pay the same and get a full size?

Why a midsize when they are 90% the cost of a full size?

Buy a full-size unless you're a chick.

2 car seats are really tight in the back of a Tacoma, but I’d rather drive a taco over a Colorado.

Then don't buy a Colorado. We have a bunch at work. They are piles of shite. After about six months the interior goes to shite. Then electronics. Then that fricking door alarm. You have to slam the door so hard to get the fucjing think to stop.

We baby the hell out of ours. I wash it regularly. No hot dogging. Very gentle.

No matter what still a pile of shite.

I’m what world would you pick a Colorado over a Tacoma? Especially if you going to keep it 5+ years? But like others have said, go full-size. Two car seats in midsize is the suck, but then again, so is Chevrolet.

So all the reviews are wrong? Not being a smart arse but in almost all comparisons, the reviews choose the Colorado.

I could consider a full size but what full size can I get with decent options for under $40,000?

If you're not buying a Toyota you've come to the wrong place to discuss it.

You can subtract at least $8k from the sticker price on most full sized trucks. If you can snag a 2017 while they are still on the lots probably 10-12k
