Funny, your link leads to the Poliboard and not the OT Lounge. It’s not a biggie. I just thought you’d like to know and make the correction.

I think we have admins for this, Mr. Board Police.

If this was on the Poliboard, it would just be 20 pages about how that “rootless cosmopolitan” Soros was behind the assassination.

The real conspiracy in the Lincoln Assassination is how JWB got away. More evidence of this than any JFK conspiracy theory

There was a massive conspiracy that night to decapitate the United States government. Lincoln wasn’t the only target. An assassin was assigned to take out Vice-President Andrew Johnson but he chickened out and went to a bar to drink instead. Another assassin attacked Secretary of State William Seward but he survived the encounter. And then there was an assassin sent after Ulysses S. Grant, the General-in-Chief of the U.S. Army, but he couldn’t get close enough to make an attempt on his life.
There are also allegations that members of Lincoln's own party knew of or even facilitated the plot. Secretary of War Stanton, among others, believed Lincoln's Reconstruction plan was too lenient. With Lincoln and Johnson dead, the presidency would fall to Speaker of the House Schuyler Colfax, a Radical Reconstructionist.

They were likely some insiders involved in all this shite.
