We may see more of these late filed claims in the next couple of years. Normally in Louisiana you have 1-2 years to bring a civil claim for this type of conduct. But the law was changed a couple of years ago to remove the time limit for SA cases to allow past victims a right to come forward. IIRC these old claims can be filed until June or July of 2027.
I know some instances where companies are being sued for alleged SA cases committed by employees 60-70 years ago.

Has this (or a similar law) made it to the USSC yet? Not defending SA here, but something doesn’t feel right about the government retroactively applying laws like that.
Where does the line get drawn? We going to arrest grand pa because he ran some moonshine across state lines the weekend before he shipped off to Normandy?
