He gets the 4 cylinder without much frills. Think he actually gets 34 mpg. He could afford a Porcshe but he's all about economy for work travel and that's the best he's found last 20 years even though he put 600k on Honda Accord before his last 3 Camrys. He lived few houses from us while Josey growing up and gave great eulogy.

That's what I'd be looking for.

frick Hyundai, I drove a Sanata for a couple of months and it is the shittiest driving car I've ever driven. It just feels weird, like there's very little connection between the steering wheel and the road.

The 24 month leaf lease is an essentially free car. In GA you get $12,500 in credits, next to free charging at night at home, hov lane even w single occupancy, and free charging about town. And it's quick, as noted above. Esp 0-30 time. And no transmission, so theoretically you could go 90 in reverse.

I don't think a lease would work out too well with him putting 40k miles a year on the vehicle though.

Good point. Missed that. That's a shite ton of miles. And given that mileage, the 70mile max range of leaf wouldn't do.
We're doing leaf, prius, then specialty vehicles. The first two make up for latter until some better allroad diesels come out.
