Anoro has destroyed a great Fleetwood Mac song with “ go your own way” cover.

Not all the time, VW using Nick Drake's "Pink Moon" for example.

Fleetwood Mac's core audience is in the demographic for COPD. Shouldn't have smoked all that weed back in the day.

Imagine Dragons and Alex Clare beg to differ.
A good commercial and the right song can be fantastic.

Yeah, they have destroyed the meaning or impetus behind songs by pushing them into something to fit to sell, be it the mood the song generates or the words themselves

Bacardi commercial made the Arctic Monkeys song better than it was.

Agreed.
Nike got barbecued for it, but I liked the Revolution ad for cross-trainers.
Like A Rock for trucks was a great fit.
And car ads gave exposure to some cool quirky songs like Walking On A Dream and Whoever You Are.

The Walmart commercial with Aerosmith's 'Dream On' was pretty good. But they weren't using a knock-off of the song.

Disagree...Cadillac's use of Zepplin's - Rock and Roll was great

The ones using original tracks are much better than the cover songs like anoro uses

"Lust for Life" would've matched better with Carnival instead of Royal Caribbean.
