Wrong sir. I've know multiple people that served time in Angola and its much higher than that from what I understand. I'm not saying its 50% or anything but probably more like 15%-20%

So 20% of the prison population is an aggressor (not a victim) in prison rape?

Good gosh man.

No, most people do not go crazy while in prison.

This thread is getting worse.

Who gives a shite if your family member, friend, church member, etc. is gay? That doesn't define them as a person. Telling them to hide in the closet or YOU telling THEM they weren't born that way is just wrong in my opinion. Shunning them or thinking less of them because they are gay is equally as wrong in my opinion.

I'm leaving for real this time. This is going no where in a hurry.

I'm not gay, but I do see people make all sorts of decisions that bring pain into their lives.

I don't belive it to be a voluntary choice where someone decides they're just going to be gay. You gave you brother's defense of it not being a choice and I merely pointed out that it wasn't an effective defense. People do choose to visit pain upon themselves, just look at those who are attracted to abusive partners and relationships. In many of those people you will see a pattern of multiple abusive mates.

I'm glad I'm straight because being gay in society is likely a real bitch.

I guess I wouldn't really know yet. I think it's unfortunate that I've had to try to live a different life to conform to society but now I realize that I don't have to do that.

I'll soon learn more on what it's like when people know and the way they treat me compared to how they used to.

I also think it's a shame that I can't get married and it's frustrating to hear straight people tell me the reason I'm gay.

But, life could be worse.

No I meant 20% are probably in a forced or consensual homosexual relationship.

Just take it easy with any PDA especially at first and you should be ok.

The majority of the people in this country are supportive. And the percentages continue to increase with time and understanding.

Tigerfan56, everything will be just fine, my man

Well I haven't been able to do any PDA at all because of my siutation. I've been jealous of seeing couples hold hands and kiss in public. I don't wanna be the type to make out on a park bench but why can't I hold hands or kiss my boyfriend and tell him I love him?

You sound like the most intolerant of all. Bashing others for their beliefs. Sorry that they see life differently than you do. I don't see the need to verbally assault one over it. You clearly have some personal issues and lack a certain maturity level. I'll pray for you and may God have mercy on your soul.

but you weren't born that way. There is no gay gene.

So, you chose to be attracted to the opposite sex? Or do you have a heterosexual gene?

Thank God, that would have been horrible. If your church and family are against gays you may want to move somewhere with a lot of gays like San Fran, Chicago, NYC or Oxford. You will probably be WAY happier there.

So will we!

Yes. I have a Y chromosome. Do I need to explain the basics of life to you?

Theres not a dumb gene either, but people are certainly wired that way from birth.

While that's funny and a great rebuttal, the dumb gene is almost the perfect counterargument to evolution.

Because idiocracy is coming - one dumb motherfricker and each one dumber than the next.
