Has anyone observed it over the past few days and know the best time to view in BR tonight? Information I am seeing seems to be all over the place. Thanks.

Tried to find a spot to view it, saw lots of pine trees.

I know the Astronomical society tried to view it from the Burbank soccer field unsuccessfully. Apparently someone could see it East of lsu. Ascension it’s hopeless with the trash light from Baton Rouge to the north west

I've seen it Thursday and Friday nights. It's in the northwest sky underneath the big Dipper. But I'm in the Texas Hill Country with minimal light polution. Around 10pm when the sky is dark I can see it with the nekid eye but it's much better with binoculars.

We saw it a couple of days ago at Lake Wenatchee, in central Washington State on the eastern side of the Cascades. Was super awesome to see since I never got to see Halley’s Comet back in 86.

I saw it last night with 7x35 binoculars here in rural Texas. It's in the nw sky below the big dipper. Find the lowest star in the big dipper and go down about 2/3 towards the horizon slightly to the left.
Look for it about an hour after sunset - you need dark skies and unobstructed view to the horizon. It is very faint and urban lights will wash it out.

Saw it again tonight. The tail is really visibly longer now

It will be at it's peak on Wednesday night. The best way to find it is to find the lowest part of the Big Dipper, and follow it straight down to the horizon.
Best time to view is roughly one hour after sunset, just before the sky is completely dark. Didn't bring my camera along to South Dakota last week where I had completely dark skies, but I did capture the below photo from Denver. Should be visible with a decent pair of binoculars even with city lights.
