I saw recently that my alma mater, McNeese is several members of its rodeo team to the college finals. This caused a chuckle in me reminiscing about mid 1970s
I was in college working nights at the Holiday Inn which was on the east side of town on Hwy 90. One weekend there was a dog show and college rodeo in town. The hotel was full of older women with their show dogs and cowboys/cowgirls for visiting colleges.
Around 9PM the calls start hitting the front desk with old women complaining about racket disturbing their dogs. We called a couple of the rodeo rooms and asked them to tone it down. An hour later we had to call the local sheriff dept. (two blocks away) They sent some older black part time deputies and we knocked on doors, no answer, the I had to open with the master key. The senior black deputy turned back and said "They are having a frick party in there" He repeated it several times in disbelief. Sure, as shite two couple were getting it on. Cowboys still had boots and hats on. There were also several couples fricking in the shrubs around the pool area. It was a pain in the arse for me but even though difficult I contained my laughter.
I did not observe any cowgirl or reverse cowgirl positions

I thought that was when you mounted a girl, screamed another woman's name, and tried to ride it out for 8 seconds.

The cowgirls were slim and trim and pretty hot looking.and competed in pole bending and barrel racing.

Yes they have. I enjoy the rodeo every year. It is a big thing for Sul Ross University and the town.

Founding member of the NIRA. They've won the team championship 8 or 10 times. McNeese won it once over 60 years ago.

the ol' subtle "I saw some other people having sex" flex.

It was a funny sight but the most funny part of all was the sheriff deputy turns around as telling us what was going on, and then repeating several times like he couldn't believe that this was happening.
Not to mention older ladies complaining and dogs barking at the ones doing it in the shrubbery,
