I kept and wore some ear plugs from work and just rocked my son for a couple hours every evening. It seemed to happen every night about the same time. No magic cure that we found.

Dupois' ships. That and rice cereal with the last feeding of the day saved our sanity.

My daughter was diagnosed with reflyx and put on an antacid. That really changed our lives. Y’all should ask your Dr if antacids are right for you.

this is my suggestion as well...I see no harm in trying this.

I agree with this. Soy based formula saved my hairline with my first, so we used it from get go on the next 3.

And despite all that they’ve become, you’d trade every dollar you ever made to hear that same baby cry one more time and know that you’re her greatest chance at comfort.

Not in law school yet, but you hit the nail on the head. My oldest is becoming one hell of a person, and as bad as his colic cry, I’d love to go back to those restless nights rocking him for hours.

My daughter was collicky. My grandmother suggested either a half or whole teaspoon (been 5 yrs so can't remember) of Karo syrup in a 4 oz bottle. Seemed to help.

My son was dramatically worse and was diagnosed with acid reflux by his pediatrician and prescribed an infant's dose of prilosec. It was a gift from heaven. After about a week it completely stopped and he was off of it after 3-4 months.

Good luck.

Dr Browns bottles
Gas drops
AR formula - for gassy babies

And my secret weapon .. the rice heat packs you put in the microwave to warm up. The sinus size works the best. Let the baby lay on your chest with the pack between you and the them on the stomach. Worked every time for me.

That might have been his witching hour. My oldest had that from 6-8 every night and I couldn't put her down. Read about witching hour a couple of months after hers ended and was like, sonofa... would have been nice if someone mentioned it. Everyone said it was colic or gas and I was driving myself crazy.

This is something a friends swears by, it is expensive but if it works it is worth it. :)
