Yep, and people go in Hot Tubs and Saunas for relaxation, no one goes in a cold bath or igloo for relaxation or comfort.

ETA: my daughter went to Antarctica two years ago, did the Polar Plunge

I'm aware people do it, but there's Hot Tubs everywhere, even in Hot climates there's not Ice Baths everywhere.

I saw a video a chick posted that spent the majority of her life living in Alaska and then moved to the South and said she’d take Alaska winter over the south any day. She was responding to a northerner making fun of people in the south when we get colder weather.
She said in Alaska it could be in the teens/negatives and they’d still be outside in hoodies bc there wasn’t crazy humidity. Once she got to the south and went outside in the 20’s/30’s she had to bundle up bc the humidity/wind felt like it was cutting through you.
