after all the problems they had and the lawsuit, never would have thought he would come back.
After nearly six years away from the company, CM Punk's hiatus came to an end Tuesday when he made his official return to WWE programming on WWE Backstage:

Wish I had tickets for SS as you know they're going to go for the huge eruption as his music hits. O/U 5 minutes until the first chant? (Actually it'll probably start during the main event tapings before Smackdown since it's in Chicago and it is FOX show)

I feel bad for the Superstars who wrestle at Survivor Series because everyone in the entire arena is going to be expecting CM Punk to show up and when he doesn't they are going to go home disappointed even if the PPV itself is good.

Punk works for Fox, not WWE. I would be very surprised if he appeared at any live events. I doubt many fans expect to see him either.

I mean logically speaking, if he had a WWE contract they arent having him show up on this show as his first appearance.

not necessarily. the FS1 show has been struggling to get ratings the first couple weeks. now with Punk showing up the ratings will explode next week.
