So I didnt hear him talking to her? was he not with his fricking wife during something like that? and how could you be so dumb to be upstairs during that. If that is going on I'm sitting right next to my family holding them and laying over them. and praying to God we make it through. and if we dont... we all dont. I dont leave my wife somewhere to fend for her damn self

Extremely dumb. He didn't think their house was going to be hit and the wife I believe was downstairs in what would be considered a safer spot in the house. How he survived being upstairs is one of those mysteries of life.

That footage is terrifying. I won't lie, tornadoes scare the hell out of me. That storm is the upper limits of a very strong F4, almost an F5.

If you want to see the actual footage from the OP video at the 7:33 mark then go here (YouTube link). YouTube

The money shot starts at around the 4:13 mark, but some of the most amazingly violent tornado footage you will ever see begins at the 4:45 mark.

Watch it for yourself.

Several of those clips are from the Tuscaloosa tornado back in 2011. I live in Birmingham and had a tree on my condo from a tornado in the early morning round of storms that day.
