From the encyclopedia Britannica:
Remember this when someone wants to regulate an industry or take away individual liberties in the name of "climate change". You are allowing the weathermen to decide your future. The same people that can't even tell you what the weather will be tomorrow with any certainty.
ETA: Request move to Poli Board. Thx.
quote:
Climatology, branch of the atmospheric sciences concerned with both the description of climate and the analysis of the causes of climatic differences and changes and their practical consequences. Climatology treats the same atmospheric processes as meteorology, but it seeks as well to identify the slower-acting influences and longer-term changes of import, including the circulation of the oceans and the small yet measurable variations in the intensity of solar radiation.

My daughter learned the difference between climate and weather in second grade. So I'm guessing you dropped out after first grade?

I took a climatology class last semester. Pretty cool stuff.
My teacher was cool. He's not all global warming, but more concerned about climate change and the negatives of it.
Very intriguing learning about California's drought and how it's affected the area (Fresno iirc). Talked about the dust bowl and how greed is the main cause of our issues. Very interesting to learn about mid latitude cyclone, learning and knowing the weather, tons about hurricanes and other interesting labs.
He hates weather.com with a passion too. Was funny it would irk him about fake weather.
