A friend of mine gave me a CAO Rare Select last week to try. Had a box of 18 delivered today. Good stick.

Padron 3000 is a nice smoke as well.

I used to love cigars, collecting, trying different varieties, etc. Then all of a sudden they just started making me feel like total shite the next day. Dry mouth, can't breathe/sleep, just miserable. Any tips on avoiding this? TIA

Sin Compromiso is a fine cigar. His cigars are a bit spendy for ME, but, I like them a lot.

Similar for me, except I just kinda lost the taste for them over the last year or so and don’t often crave one. Before was about 2-4 per week especially spring and fall.
I still have one here and there maybe 1-2/month.

Find a local shop you're comfortable in, and odds are there is one considering how many have sprung up over the last 10 years or so, and talk to the people running it and smoking. Nothing cigar smokers like better than to convince you their go to is the best. Keep a list of the ones you try...its hard to keep up with them unless you smoke a BUNCH.

I don't know that I have ever smoked a premium cigar I did not enjoy. I am sure I have but I do not remember it. Any of the major brands are acceptable. They are distinctly different which is, to me, part of the allure.

[Here’s what I have at least five each of in my cabinet. I swear by any of these:

- Fuente Eye of the Bull, Short Story, Opus No. 77 Shark, Eye of the Shark, Forbidden X Amor Sensual, Rare Pink Work of Art and Happy Ending
- EP Carillo Pledge, Allegiance and the rare Pledge of Allegiance
- Padron 1926 No. 6
- Oliva V Lancero
- Liga Privada No. 9, T52 and H99 - also for a short smoke the H99 Papas Fritas is incredible
- Davidoff Escurio

My current “cost not an option” go-to is the Placenica Alma Fuerte (black) Hexagon. Swear by these.

My current budget go-to is the CAO Fasa Sol. Incredible $7 stick.]

The information in this post is all you need!!!!!
