Thanks for making my point. Puerto Rican is not a race or even a ethnicity. In fact, it’s majority white by some estimates.

Shakira is a blonde from Colombia, who is part Lebanese. Both countries are majority Caucasian.

If these women are “people of color” then the term has no meaning. It is apparently being used as a country of origin classifier, rather than of ethnicity.
