Is it not practical to have all dash cam / body cam videos saved to the cloud as video is recorded? It doesn't seem like it'd be that hard to get a system in place to do this and then have alarms go off when a camera is turned off, malfunctioning, etc.

I'm not tech savvy but that was my thought

This city never ceases to amaze me. It's awesome on so many levels, but the shite that goes down...it's no surprise we're on the verge of bankruptcy.

Ours are transferred as soon as the recording stops. Has triggers that automatically start recording. This isn't new technology.

Nope. Erased by the officer on the scene after the arrest was made
If I was on a jury and there was an issue like that, there is zero chance I would vote the guy guilty and would do my damnedest 12 Angry Men impression to sway the others to my point of view.

Problem is, majority of population doesn't have stones like you do to stand up for what's right, and many officers get away with misdeeds b/c the public on juries are terrified of police retaliation

Judges jury instructions usually don't help, and usually make it pretty clear they'll get mad/try to put you in jail if you try to pull a jury nullification. It just seems like the system is stacked, and it starts with incidents like this (and stories like SabiDojo's).
