Who on the OT owns one? Thinking about pulling the trigger soon.

Talk to Trent. He'll hook you up.

Don't put Trent in a box. Trent can do whatever Trent wants.

I don't have one....but I think they look really cool, especially with the optional twenty something inch wheels.

I'd get the GMC b/c you can still get the 6.2, iirc.
That's just the finest gas engine you can get in a 1/2 ton pickup.

They are beautiful. If you don't get the 2500HD version, you are just trying.

6.2L is available on the Chevy half ton.
The HD models have either a bulletproof 6.0L gasser or the Duramax turbo diesel. I think that the new Silverados could be one of the best looking HD trucks.
This might be more appropriate for the outdoor board.

Good deal.
If I went back to a 1/2 ton, it would be a GM just to get that engine.
Then I would hope the interior bits would stay together.

It's preference. I'm on my second Duramax. I tow 10000lbs on occasion. I'm a fan. The Allison 6 speed transmission is the shiznitz.

Those are good-looking trucks, but 3/4 ton, go Ford 6.7. This is a no-brainer.
GM is still rocking those infamous shitty door handles. Get ready to watch a YouTube on how to replace them.

I'm pretty meh on the High Country, but the GMC All Terrains I've seen look amazing.
Saw a white Z71 AT the other day with (presumably) a level kit and mud tires on factory rims, and it was one of the best looking trucks I've ever seen.
Still though, I've owned my last GM -- too many problems, and I've had a few friends who've had no end of trouble with the 2014s.

Nothing wrong with the 6.6, I'd take it with the alley over the 6.7 all day.
