There's a difference in generics. Great Value and Winn Dixie tend to offer pretty close knockoffs, if not the same product, for a lot of non-food items. The Great Value toilet paper that is meant to compete with Charmin is the exact same product as Charmin. It is brands like Scott that are bad..
Depends on the generic. You have your shitty thin generic ones, but you also have stores like Winn Dixie making teir own brand of bags that are as good as the real thing.

Home Depot has awesome trash bags as well. They're great for my kitchen trash.
