Women should do 90% of texting/calling first. Anything over that is a turn off and ruins chemistry and attraction. Society has conditioned women and men to incorrectly believe that a man is only interested if he pursues them aggressively. This is completely false. In reality women are only attracted to and will feel chemistry for men when they have to do most of the pursuing themselves.

Few things turn a chick off more than a guy who is needy. If you need a woman around to have purpose or meaning in your life, you've already fricked up.

Exactly!! Women will say they want a strong man to take care of them but then when you text them a few times to tell them how strong you are, then they lose interest. It's like "make up your mind!!"

Very formulaic in Hollywood - Weak Beta Guy meets girl, girl not interested because Weak Beta Guy isn't good enough for her, and she goes for Jerk Alpha Chad instead. Weak Beta Guy spends the rest of the movie trying to prove how much he cares for the woman, how much better he would be than Jerk Alpha Chad, and goes above in beyond to be there for her and do all he can for her, basically worship the ground she walks on. The one thing he doesn't do is change himself - he remains Weak Beta Guy the entire movie. Anyway at the end of the movie the girl finally realizes how great of a guy Weak Beta Guy is, and is so appreciative of all he has gone through to show how much he cares for her, and how much of a jerk Jerk Alpha Chad is, and runs into the arms of Weak Beta Guy and they supposedly live happily ever after.
Unfortunately real life isn't that way. The problem is that so many guys are brainwashed and programmed from birth to believe thats how you win over women - by "being there" for her, investing all your attention, time and affection into her, and worshipping the ground she walks on.
The more invested party has the least leverage. If you want a woman to come around to you, be less invested than she is.
