Charlotte PC: Keith Scott video won't be made public

Family of the Charlotte man fatally gunned down by police will get to view video of the shooting, but the public won’t, the police chief said.
Putney said he would not “release it to the masses,” however, citing a different view of transparency than the one held by advocates and community members who demanded to see the footage.
“Transparency is in the eye of the beholder,” he said. “If you think I say we should display a victim’s worst day for consumption, that is not the transparency I’m speaking of,” Putney said at a news conference on Thursday morning.
Putney also revealed that the dashcam video does not show "absolute definitive visual evidence that would confirm that (Scott) is pointing a gun” at officers before he was killed.

if it takes a judge less than 30 minutes to get to the scene of a DUI arrest to sign a warrant for blood work how long should it take one to sign off on a video release?
