Back then you had 3 TV channels (if you were lucky). No matter how much you hated The Beatles, you would unavoidably hear about them, in the news, comedian's jokes, etc.
The media landscape has changed. I don't watch TV at all. It's quite easy to avoid the teenage fad of the moment. I would never have heard of this person if not for the OT.

For like 2 months, any time I would ride with my daughter, that damn song would come on as part of her Spotify playlist. I hated it LONG before I found out about the trash drag queen wannabe that sings it.
