The mayor really got one over on the police chief.
-The mayor created an employee handbook, which went into effect on the day he took office, that made all requests for unpaid leave his domain.
-Police officer requested unpaid time off from the mayor, which was approved.
-Police chief fires the police officer for taking the time off. Police officer sues the city for racial discrimination and the mayor agrees to continue paying his salary despite no longer being on the workforce.
-Mayor the informs the village's insurance provider – Risk Management Inc, a Baton-Rouge based subsidiary of the Louisiana Municipal Association – to report a lack of police staffing. As a result, the village's indemnity agreement with the Louisiana Municipal Risk Management Agency for Public Liability was cancelled.
-No more police force and the chief is out of a job.

No haynesville bonuses ever made it to Clarence. The only thing it has going for it is Grayson's. I can't see how they are in crisis as they probably Steal about 3-4$ million a year from drivers in tickets passing through.

Did you read the part where they no longer have a police force?

So they had one police chief and one police officer, the end?

Doesn't jive with the guy who told me he saw one on 84 today running radar. Should they really be shut down this shows you how much ticket money they rely on to keep the town running.
