I had Spanish at Chalmette High but the teacher was an old Cajun farmer from Mamou who'd take us to get snowballs and didn't care lol

The floats arrived last night. Got tied up driving home.
It's a parade, there is some trash (ok maybe a lot of trash) but all the local schools perform, you catch a ton of produce, and it's a chance to have a good time.
Also, Jim Mora is the grand marshal.

The smoking ban didn't help in this area.
They need new plumbing. Last summer they replaced a huge line to the street. I've been told they're replacing both bathrooms. I'll believe it when I see it. It's busy season.
