Highest is MNFI CDR, GEN Petraeus, but the only one I keep on me is 101st Commander, with MG Cody's name on it. Almost sent that one back to him in order to get into 160th SOAR as a buck sergeant when 3ID was trying to fence me in.

Oh that's what that is I had sent a care package to some Internet forum friends while they were in the Middle East, and sent a nice letter with a very heavy coin. With their company or unit logo on it very cool item.

Most important one is my coin from 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment (Wolfhounds).
I have the CSM coin but it was for reenlisting. I don't count that.

I have a coin from the Major General of Army Recruiting Command.

Don't remember the exact circumstances as told to me, but my uncle has one of the coolest coins I've seen, presented to him by the CO of a group of Army snake eaters (after they learned it was him that flew the mission that took out a hornets nest of VC that had them pinned down. All I remember was that it was a skull wearing a green beret with a snake in its mouth.

I have a few from various Sgt.Majors. I almost got one from Gen. McChrystal but it was me or a private so it went to the private. I got a picture with him though.

I only have like 10 coins, my highest 2 being from 2 generals who I couldn't even tell you who they are off the top of my head, without going find the coins, which I got on a deployment.
A few others from the colonel and battery commander for doing some highspeed shite for the unit.
The others are mostly from sergeant majors, for setting up their barbecues at their houses or stupid shite like that

I haven't ever been given one

I was chosen to be coined by Chief Master Sgt Cody (CMSgt of the Air Force) when he was suppose to visit my base, but something happened and he never made it up here.
That would have been my best.

I'm thinking about jumping out of the SC when I hit CPT...thinking of jumping to Engineers. I love Signal, there's just no command after the company level

I have about 100 coins over my 15 years but the two best ones are probably Donald Rumsfeld and Gen Peter Pace (CJCS)

Got a challenge coin from the CO of 1/11 Cav for scoring top gun in the squadron on tank table VIII.

You are a SIGO as an LT and weren't branch detailed? That sucks. Gotta get your I'm hard time out of the way as an LT and move into the easy job (signal) later.

The Fort Carson Firefighters Assoc.
They were given out at my brother-in-law's (sister's husband) funeral. I could never attend another service where they do last call. And the military funeral a few days later with the gun salute and Taps; I don't think I could do that again either.

Deputy Secretary of Defense William J. Lynn III
4 Star General William M. Fraser III
The 1st and 2nd's really don't give a shite about me, I do well with the 3rd's though.

I have a million of em, the only two I care about are from LTG Dan Bolger (1st Cav CG when I got it and later CG of TRADOC) and LTG Dana Chipman (former TJAG).
Both great men and great leaders. I was lucky to have mentors of that quality.
