Downvote away, but it frustrates me so much that this can't be the trump we see more often. If he acted like this everyday, I think he'd be a lock for re-election.

This was a great speech. Why can't we have more of this?

We will probably get some clown tweets tomorrow morning that negate any benefit this speech might give him.

fireworks now

there are better live streams on YouTube showing the actual fireworks. Fox's coverage has been awful constantly interrupting and terrible camera angles.

The best is yet to come.

That was an excellent, uplifting speech. Americans needed to hear that.

I didn’t even hear it, but I believe you. I told my dad tonight that this is probably the only Independence Day holiday that I’m angry as an American. And just by seeing y’all’s reactions uplifts me. I’ll watch the speech in a bit and be in a better mood.

You aren't wrong.

But he also can't be all smiles and patriotism all the time. He has to go fangs out with a hostile media and use controversy in his message to bypass them via twitter, facebook, etc.

I wish I’d have gotten to see Reagan’s presidency. He fricking unleashed America on the world. My dad said it was fricking wild how his presidency was on the world stage. Everybody was afraid of him.

Kinda like Trump. No other foreign nation wants to frick with us with him running the show.

When Fox cut I flipped to MSNBC and the headline was "Trump has firework show despite wildfire risk". I laughed at that one.

I wish there was a wildfire at MSNBC headquarters. But would anybody even notice?
