cant post an image from work. Someone send me an email and I will send them the front page of the letter. I told her yesterday to start looking at other churches to see if they enforced the same rules.

I've been to at least 30 Catholic weddings in the past 2-3 years across multiple diocese and participated in pre-cana prep for other couples. The "rules" you are stating are all Parish specific and more than likely a few of them are a misunderstanding from your perspective.
For instance, unity candles are not a part of a Catholic Nuptial Mass given that the Pascal Candle has a specific purpose not related to marriage.
The "not walking her down the aisle" sounds like something based on the setup of the Church. As in, you can't bring her all the way up onto the altar, but can hand her off next to the first pew.
