How is she supposed to afford a legal team to take down men worth hundreds of millions of dollars?

If you can't prove it, you can easily lose a lawsuit. And going on a radio show and saying "So-and-so assaulted me," is a great way to get sued for slander.

She's a literal nobody. Those aren't the people that are going to stop this. It's A-Listers who have tons of disposable income that can afford 7 to 8 figures on a lawyer dream team. Heather Ross does not have that kind of power. It will take someone like RDJ to gather up all of them and destroy the system.

That’s a terrible message for women, you’re not important so you getting assaulted doesn’t matter. What needs to happen is every time a nobody is assaulted it should be reported, a flood is started by a bunch of tiny rain drops.

Who ultimately did in bill Cosby? A nobody, it took a nobody to speak up, then a bunch of nobodies showed up. It wasn’t some big names star, it was a nobody who finally worked up the courage to say something. Same with Sandusky and JoePa A nobody brought PSU down, not some big name. If everybody just sat around until a big name gets assaulted or a big name to do something the nothing would ever happen. It’s got to start with the “little” people.

And now you’ve done it, I sound like a god damned hippie liberal douche SJW. shite my day is ruined.

For every one that resists or objects, there are ten willing to give the producer what he wants.

And, notice that no one is touching the other casting couch - the gay coercive casting couch. It has also been around forever. Clark Gable had to let director George Cukor give him a knobber when Gable was a bit player.

Well, the truth often hurts. As Tyrion once put it: "People often claim to hunger for truth, but seldom like the taste when it's served up."

I wouldn't call Hannibal Buress a nobody.

There were direct witnesses with that though.

Rob Schneider and Terry Crewes have recently spoken about it. I'll be shocked if Bryan Singer makes it out of this in one piece.

I’m not talking about outing the producer on the radio show. I’m talking about reporting the assault when it fricking happened. I’m sure the Ross woman confided in Carrie Fisher about the assault around the time it happened, so instead of Carrie Fisher pulling the stunt with the toungue, she should have gone with her friend to the police and been her support. And if that didn’t work use her name in Hollywood to bring the story to the press. Going to the producer with the toungue did absolutely nothing but make a good story.

I know that is the truth, but the truth in this case can be changed if enough people speak up and speak up to the right people i.e. police and/or the media.

I forgot about the Hannibal Buress standup bit.

I believe Heather Ross is a direct witness, she was assaulted. In the Sandusky case, it was a nobody that spoke out, then the Red headed assistant coach spoke out that he had reported it previously to JoePA IIRC. and just like with this case, instead of going to the police the redheaded assistant that witnessed the rape went to JoePa. He should have gone straight to the police.

That message isn't just for women and assault. It's for everyone and everything. Whether it's small businesses getting squeezed out by dirty major corporations or that kid in school getting bullied by their peers, it's everywhere.

You're not just going against a few Hollywood execs or corrupt CEOs, you're trying to stamp out human wickedness. It's a valiant cause, but ultimately hopeless. Which is not to say that it should not still be pursued, just that you should keep it in perspective.

The best thing anyone can do for themselves is to avoid getting in a situation where you are vulnerable. Just like knowing the bad parts of a new town and avoiding them, everyone should know by now that show business is dirty and dangerous.
