Any adult, average sized, healthy person, as long as he/she is mentally willing to do what is necessary, should be physically capable of taking on a 20 lb animal. Again, it's a 20 lb animal. It doesn't take a bad arse to do it. It just take a person that actually has a will to live.

At least there is some evidence of a man being able to kill a bobcat with his hands. A quick Google search seems to indicate that there has never been a documented report of a human killed by a bobcat
