Car Security Systems. What is recommended?

After my shite got jacked this past weekend, I am considering this along with the easy locking lugnuts.
The body shop wants $600 for an alarm system that if you bump the car, it goes off. No reporting, text, etc. I think he is out his goard if he thinks I'm paying $600 for a beeping noise.
I want something that alerts me and gives me a shot to follow up immediately instead of just being in earshot.
I saw Viper system is $500 installed at Best Buy. Is that the best system to get? It seems to have positive reviews.
I also saw I can get a two way camera for $200 but it seems to me theyd just bust the window and take the camera if they saw it. If I'm stealing your tires and rims, I see a camera...I break window and steal camera. Is my logic flawed here?

If your car is with less than $600, I'd say it's a ripoff.

I got a basic Viper remote start, alarm, glass sensor, bump sensor, and LED feedback remote for like a buck fiddy online and had Mobile One install it for another buck fiddy

Yes. My shite got stolen because of the words I choose. How did I ever overlook this. All the chances I had to change. Just passed on by.

Viper. One model comes with gps, mic for shatter alarm, tilt alarm, remote start, and a two alarm. Had one on my charger, loved it. Cousin kicked a tire and it went off.
