Yeah. A friend of mine was on the jury for that trial that ended a couple months or so ago.

Where this happened, the direction people are walking and from what direction I understand this lady to be going I have no idea how you hit 37 people without trying.
It's like hitting 37 people that are crossing the street in front of you.
Police are now saying they think she was drunk.

She turned herself into security at Tuscany Suites and Casino. That's a right off S. Las Vegas Blvd. - so presumably she was driving north.
It had to happen between the closed streets of Harmon and Flamingo. I guess she might have hit people outside the shops near E. Harmon or the bus stop near the Eiffel Tower recreation further down S. Las Vegas Blvd.

Police captain confirmed that the driver went onto the sidewalk twice in different locations. It's being investigated as a homicide.

It happened right between Planet Hollywood and Paris. It's one of the few crosswalks across Las Vegas Blvd, most places are a skywalk.
My guess as to what happened because I've been stuck in traffic there a lot before with pedestrians ignoring the don't walk sign, is te lady got fed up with not being able to go and just went crazy.
But of course the guy on the news has to go with the 'I think it's pretty telling that they haven't specifically ruled out terrorism. This is a tactic used in Palestine and Israel'...

Which celebrity will lead the charge? People with a history of mental illness shouldn't be given drivers licenses, nor should people on the no fly list. I'm sure that would have stopped this pointless violence.

I had a buddy tell me years ago “Why don’t terrorists just use cars as weapons? They can just rent them and plow through tailgaters or something”. He was drunk as piss at an LSU football game, but the point is valid. Seems that would be the easiest way to inflict mass carnage. $40 rental car and a big sporting event.
