The more high end the car, the better the service after the sale has been in my experience

Not my experience at all. Brian Harris BMW is a joke when it comes to customer service.

Acura of BR and Infiniti of BR are owned by the Fabre family. I highly recommend buying a vehicle from them. They will treat you well!

I know I'll get down voted for this, but in a lot of cases the dealership and the brand are a big factor in the treatment you get. I'll say about 80% of dealerships won't take good care of you after the sale. My service department and salespeople follow up and truly care about the client and the retention rate shows.

Why is it I sit in a dealership, they become my best friend, they will offer pretty much anything to close the deal, but service after the fact is garbage?

I didn't read any of the rest of your thread.

If you honestly cannot answer this question you might be clinically retarded

I think each person's experience is different many factors go into what type of service after the sale you get. Are you a repeat customer? Yes the vehicle you purchase does matter- ( I don't agree with this) for some buying a base model Chevy cruise is a big deal - they deserve good service after the fact but don't often get it! Most people go into purchasing a new vehicle feeling they got a good deal! In most cases (40%) of people
Do get a somewhat fair deal however I'm just going to say the other (60%) of people aren't asking the right questions and are most likely leaving 3-5,000 minimal on the table! Just my opinion!
I find it ironic this thread is ongoing tonight! This evening the wife and I traded in both our rides for 1 new one today (only b/c we are getting a company ride) walked out 12 below Msrp paying no sales tax and getting a check cut back to us! This is not a brag by any means it's just knowing how do deal with the dealership, and making it a win win for both parties

It's not a fancy car but not cheap. We ended a 15 explorer lease, dealer paid off lease, then got a check in the mail from Ford. Had a very good time with Sales, like I said I could've got a more expensive car, but this suites my family and just expect a simple answer.

I bought a 2013 Camaro with 47k on it last year.

They gave us $1300 trade in for an 01 Sonata with 250k and electrical and mecanical issues.

Sales tax thrown in.

2 small dents around the fenders the dealership paid to have fixed.

3 months deferred payments and the dealership made the next two payments.

2.9% financing on a used vehicle.

Dealership picked up the tow bill and a replacement tire for the Sonata.

Payments $250 a months. It is financed 5 years.

I am the Auto Group I.T. guy and my brother is the companies top 1-3 salesman out of 17 dealerships.
