I had the exact same thing on a ford, it was the condenser fan. These guys have you steered correctly.

Your radiator fan ain’t working.

My coworkers truck recently had the same exact symptoms you’re having.

common issue, your fan isn't running for the condensor. When you drive air moves over it, when you don't it gets hot and can't cool.

You have to remember Air conditioning doesn't cool, it removes heat.

That was it. I've had a compressor go out before but not a cooling fan.

OT baller price was approx $300, worth it, ice cold now
