That is the exact problem with this. SJW's have drawn the 'new' racism around color only, ignoring ethnicity. All other races get to claim background and ethnicity, but whites are only 'white'?
In Portland, what if a Chinese guy opens a Japanese restaurant? Or a Mexican opens a Puerto Rican food joint? What about a fresh off the boat S. African immigrant opening a soul food restaurant?
This shite is so stupid.

The logic of this would lead to absurdity but there's no point in applying logic to this. This is just another way of bashing white people and there's no room for reasoned argument. It's like trying to rationally discuss something with a two year old having a temper tantrum.

When NOLA.com starts going to every other state to tell them to stop cooking what they call "cajun" food, then I MIGHT start to care.

And yet... these same liberal hypocrites call anyone who says they'd like to preserve Western culture white supremacists.
It's best to ignore these pseudointellectuals. They are all weak-minded imbeciles in a constant battle to see who is most "tolerant".

I could not even finish reading that crap. fricking Portland. Now that's a city we could do without.
Does anyone really want to go there? There as in claiming white people make profits off of other cultures? No one owns a culture. If someone provides something that involves a certain culture, people can either buy it or not buy it. Is that really a hard concept to understand? And what exactly is white culture?
In the south, especially South Louisiana, there are several cultures that are intertwined with each other. For example, something like red beans and rice. Let's say I open up a restaurant that serves red beans and rice.. It can be considered soul food, but it isn't really just associated as a black person's dish. What about crawfish? If someone owned a restaurant and decided they wanted to sell crawfish, do they have to be cajun?
What if a white man and a mexican woman marries each other and they decide they want to open up a mexican restaurant together.. Will the husband not be able to be involved because he is white?
When you get into food, there are a lot of dishes that are inspired by more than one culture.
Everyone in America has the opportunity to start their own business. It is easier for some than others, if someone has an idea and they create something that people like and want to buy, how can the whole "culture" argument even be made? Every type of food has an origin, so are they going to look into everything a white person sells to make sure it originated from a white culture? frick Portland.

I'm all for this.
I'm tired of blacks being so damned good at sports invented by whites. It's cultural appropriation.

The republic form of government was a cultural creation of Europeans; therefore, blacks and Asians should not be allowed to vote due to cultural appropriation.
Nor should they be allowed to use White inventions such as cars and antibiotics.
