Lost my FIL and my grandfather the last year to cancer. This is the 1 year anniversary I lost my FIL to cancer and it still stings. He was an awesome man and I miss him everyday. You can upvote or make a post if you have lost someone to cancer.

We raised $20,300 for the American Cancer Society the last few months here in Baton Rouge with our company.

We have been raising money for the last few months and just announced the totals on Thursday morning. We raised $38,000 as group but Baton Rouge with 5 people raised 20k! We had a lot of help with that 20k but 5 people spearheaded that.

Keep up the good work. I'm sorry for what you had to go through. Cancer, does indeed, suck!

sorry to hear about your loss, rise. bad thing is, there are very few people who have not lost someone close to them due to cancer. one day, maybe our kids or grandkids won't have to worry about that crap.

Just an honest question, why do we lose so many people to cancer?

Very sorry for your loss, frick cancer. I actually started a thread on here nearly a year ago celebrating that a close family friend had beaten it. About six weeks later she passed from a new set of super aggressive tumors. It's a cruel thing. Again sorry for your loss.

Amazing with all the money and time we have put in research that we have yet to find a 100 percent cure.

It would be amazing if we could find a 100% cure before we had self driving cars on the street every day.

I'd be pretty damn happy. Mines supposedly not curable (chronic) but its very slow and not very aggressive.
