Canadian series "The Tournament" would work well based around travel ball

You can find clips on YouTube, but someone needs to make a travel ball series. I bet it would be successful.

The series follows a youth hockey team working their way through the tournaments to make the nationals.

The coach is really good - but he's gay, so the dads have an issue with it, but they are winning so they are torn.

There's obviously the dad of the superstar kid who thinks he's destined to the NHL. In one episode, he steals the family vacation money to fly the coach of another travel team out to watch his kid - but the coach takes the money and runs.

There's the single mom who is just checking out the single guys - everyone from dads to coaches to referees.

There's the funeral home owner that is the team sponsor - he's always pissed because his business name isn't prominently displayed.

Its a well done series and has a lot of overtures shared with travel baseball/softball in the US.
