My wife used to ask me to share my feelings about things. We’ve both since agreed that I probably shouldn’t do that on a regular basis. I’m okay with that as I never had any desire to do so in the first place.

If prostitution was legal and safe, would you have gotten married?

I lose stuff long before using it all. I have two of just about everything because I find the original later. So, no I dont relate. At 55 I dont think about getting older as much as alot seem to do, maybe its because I had my last kid at 42. I just think about how long I gotta make it to see grandkids.

That’s funny but getting married was by far the best thing I ever did in my life. I’d be a complete disaster without her. It would not be good. We just have very different views on the need to talk about stuff.

This past Christmas while I was helping my Grandfather( 87) with somethings around the house, he went to his big arse box of penny nails.

This box has been there in his shop my whole life and I never gave it a passing thought.

He noticed there was maybe 50 left, he told me he bought thst big box in 1975 thinking he’d never run out of them. He just sat there and said…. Damn that’s sad those nails have made memories around this house.

I get it. I have a roll of solder that I inherited from my father. It's not commercially packaged, just a lot of solder wound around a ceramic insulator. When it starred running low after many years, I rebelled against the passage of time by adding more solder on top of the last few inches. It'll never run out.
