80's >> 90's. Pre Internet and cell phones.
The music (pick your genre) and movies were also superior on the whole.

I would say the early 90's were still a pretty good time.

Born in 70's, grew up as a teen in 80's and early 90's. 20's during the mid to late 90's.

I would imagine the 70's would have been better than the 80's and 90's. Just because of the stories and pictures I've seen and heard from my parents.

Late 90s blew.

I remember hoping rap would frick off and thought boy bands were a 1 hit fluke. MTV died because of pop.

I remember when having a video on MTV was an accomplishment. Now it would be an embarrassment. If I had been older in the 80s I'm sure I would have liked them more. There is only so much you can do before becoming a teen.

Having lived through all since 1950 or so, the 60's were by far the most interesting and exciting years, that brought the most change to the most people. It is just impossible to explain unless you lived through it.
