I don’t understand people who buy more than 1 ticket. At least the first ticket raises your chances from being 0%. But each sequential ticket doesn’t really change your chances at all

Numbers that players pick themselves win at a slightly higher rate than quick picks. Not enough to make a profit, but it is statistically significant over a large sample size. This has been cited as possible evidence for the existence of ESP.

Well, buying a second ticket doubles your chance. Buying four doubles it again.
