Can the AI tell the difference between snow leapards?

I understand that the AI can help spot the snow leopards but does it really know how to tell the difference between different snow leopards? Would hate to find out that we overestimate the population because we keep snapping pics of the same damn leapard

Could it tell if someone dressed up and yiffed one?

I’m too high for this shite.

I've seen the commercial once or twice.
I think it simply recognizes a leopard and then a human takes over from there. It prevents someone from sitting there fast forwarding through tons of footage.

I'm not sure if you're serious in asking this question or not. But, the NN (or whatever method used) is supposed to find the patterns and differences and to find out if (1) this is a snow leopard and (2) if this is the SL #1, #2 etc.
I'm not familiar with what AI method they use and what accuracy it has on the training and cross validation set. But, you should be able to do a quick google, find their paper and look at their study.
