Jasper came to my mind right away.......

But Roof sat there with them for a good while before he started his rampage. Crazy.

You do realize the idiocracy of this, correct?

The idiocracy is people just taking these people at their word without a shred of evidence.

So you want examples of high profile hate crimes that AREN'T clear cut hate crimes, to prove that hate crimes tend to be false?

I’m not saying they aren’t clear cut hate crimes, I’m saying that most of these hate crimes that these people cry wolf on are simply not true and hoaxes.

Nobody is saying that the Dylan Roofs of the world aren’t hate crimes, what I’m saying is that for every one Dylan Roof, there’s many many Juicy Smollets.

I didn’t buy into this hate crime BS. Punish the deed and don’t try and be a mind reader. If you murder someone does it matter if you hated them or not? No

Just like there is no such thing as hate speech there is no such thing as hate crime.

Meaningless.

Do you think the 100 people in Chicago shot this weekend care about a worthless distinction that was manufactured for crimes that dont matter.

Are you telling me that you dont hate the person you beat the frick out of to death but you really hate the person you leave a couple strands of fiber on the floor for?

fricking mentally ill people have to much say.

Couldnt you make the arguement the Roof and Jasper are only high profile because of their outcome? The others listed because the people alleging the much less serious crimes are famous? Most all of the latter are unproven.

I posted these in the Bubba noose thread:

FBI tracking of reported hate crimes in the US (includes only crimes reported by participating local PDs and other agencies)

Justice Department accounting of hate crime prosecutions

Pay attention to the number of hate crimes that are reported versus the number that result in charges filed and/or an actual conviction.

Is that why keep providing the same 3 examples?

You do realize it is insanely hard to prosecute a crime as a hate crime because of intent is very difficult to prove.

Almost as if it’s a completely arbitrary crime to prosecute for the plaintiff’s attorney.

That's neither here nor there. Make of the statistics what you want. I'm not making any commentary or claims.
