Also....your friend may want to consider if his wife isn't trying some passive aggressive tactics here.
She sends him flowers at work to guilt him into doing more nice stuff for her. A woman isn't usually gonna do this without some sort of motive behind it

I am actually. My husband's office is 2 miles from our house. I always bring him Starbucks in the afternoon when I know he's dragging at work or lunch to him on a weekly basis to his work.

I worked on a construction site a few years back where a guy I worked with received flowers from his woman at the job trailer. I'm sure we can all imagine how that went for him...no way don't send me flowers.

Women are champions of being passive aggressive though. We excel at it over men any day.

My husband probably would very much appreciate the thought, but he would definitely catch shite at the office.
If I was a guy, I would probably be impressed that a chic went out of her way to think of me and spend her own money on me.
And then I'd wonder why she wasted the effort on flowers, but I would still appreciate it.
