re: Camping fire starter

A friend of mine spent a couple weeks with his son camping at multiple locations/road trip. He told me about using fire starter packs. I relentlessly busted his balls. He sent me a package of something similar.

A few of us went below the turbines at Toledo Bend early February we threw a half bed of firewood down the bluff. The wind was blowing a heavy mist. We were wearing rain gear over winter gear. Everything was soaked. I threw 2 packs of that stuff on a log <-- lighter pine and had a blaze in 90 seconds.

I was glad to have it in a situation like that.
