Typical left. They don’t know how to separate emotion from economics.

I heard the California government does. What’s your answer?

Unemotional on this, comparative to others.
Still unsure why most here are so against laborers making more money for their work.

Who doesn't make money for the labor?

This has already been covered. Acting dumb won’t change economics. Keep up.

Thats not what we're against dummy. We're against politicians forcing employers to wildly overpay their employees thus making all of our cost of living go up.
Should be pretty simple to understand.

Huh? Is this a trick question?
Farm animals, I suppose. They do a lot of work for no money. Race horses, too. I could come up with other examples.

Im against anyone but me determining how much I pay my employees at my business.

To be clear, you’re saying only fast food workers will gain a wage hike? Other professions will not?
You can’t have it both ways, you understand?

That’s fair. I’d advise as to not owning a fast food chain California then.

Farm animals make a wage?

Food companies have been passing along higher labor and ingredient costs to consumers long after inflation peaked at 9.1% in June 2022. Diners are getting fed up, eating less fast food and griping on social media that their go-to cheap meals aren’t so cheap anymore.
Sales show it. McDonald’s reported underwhelming results in the fourth quarter, and Yum Brands showed weaker-than-expected growth in its top brands, which include KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut.
Fast-food executives are taking note. McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski told analysts Monday that consumers are becoming more discriminating with their dollars, and he promised the company would focus more on affordability this year.

So, as prices rise people eat less fast food (now resort to cheetos and hot pockets) and as labor costs rise employers purchase less labor.
Looks like Progressives are at war with poor poeple.

I guess feed and a barn could be considered a wage. What do you think?

these increased costs were supposed to be paid by the corporations not transferred to consumers.

Perhaps this is an indictment on said corporations and not politicians? Just spit balling.
Prices didn't need to go up because maybe it's ok if their 8 figures year end bonuses might approach 6 figures

They use the same tactics continually yet the people they are "helping" never see it.
Growing the plantation.

And yet McD’s saw an increase of almost 10% revenue in 2023 over 2022.
Wowzers.
Wowzers.

Probably due to inflation.

Thats not what I said at all. I said everyone's cost of living will go up as a result of government forcing employers to overpay for labor. This a 100% certainty.

The truth is they dont care about the poor, or the working class.
This is punitive to them, and these dipshits believe it will eat into "CoRpOrAte PrOfItS"
They dont care that it adversely affects workers, or consumers.
