ain....the monster cactus was NOT in my yard
The OT seems to have trouble absorbing the "cactus was not in my yard" concept.

So her garage was empty?

The OP makes it sound like the cactus was on her property. These sentences specifically:

quote:

This cactus had those wooden bracings put up before we moved in because it was leaning. Guess all the rain we got from the monsoon loosened up the ground and timberrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

That was to imply that I had no idea how long those bracings were there. They were already there when we moved in.

And me posting multiple posts after the OP (one on the same page) stating the cactus wasn't in my yard should have made this pretty clear to understand.

My neighbor's pine tree fell across my yard and on top my wife's suburban. My nice new car was next to the suburban in the driveway (on the tree side of it) and was untouched by some miracle. The suburban roof was just high enough to keep the tree above my car...

You made it clear - they just don't want to understand.

This is a very stupid question, but how the hell do you chop that thing up without getting fricked up by the needles? Wear a suit of armor? That thing looks mean as hell.

I'd think I'd just burn it right then and there.

Chainsaw it into 1 foot pieces. Use a pitchfork to stab it and put it in the back of your truck. Unload with the pitchfork.

Think of a big sponge with tiny pockets that are all holding water. This thing is not as heavy as it is because of the fiber. It is the water.
