Ask if they had a treatment done to the under carriage and nooks of the car to prevent rust. Some places essentially offer a rubber coat to the underneath of cars to prevent salt from getting/sticking to areas.

This is true. I bought a 5 year old Dodge Ram 1500 and it came from Anchorage Alaska. Not a lick of rust. After 2 winters in Ohio rust started to show up.
