I bought a 4Runner from a small town in Michigan in November. They picked me up at the airport and gave me gas money home. They knocked off th price of my flight too.

I saved several hours and dollars. The dealerships up there order straight from Toyota. The dealerships here on the gulf coast order from a distributor. Guess who costs less?

After dealing with the Yahoo!'s here I just got in the internet found my car and asked them to knock off the flight. They did it immediately and gave me a price they said they couldn't touch here.

yes, the price gets lower based on the shear volume of sales. larger population cities and states will always have better deals.

going some place like houston to buy a car vs baton rouge of N O should save you more then enough to make up for the travel expense and time. plus there will be a way better assortment of cars on the lot so the exact model with options you want is easier to find.
